NAIDOC Celebration

Perth NAIDOC Family Day

BNTAC’s Perth NAIDOC Family Day was held on Saturday, 8 August, bringing everyone together for a deadly day of culture, family and community.

Celebrating NAIDOC 2026 - 50 Years of Deadly, the day included a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, Aboriginal art and family activities, community stalls, food and plenty of time to catch up.

We were joined by Sonny Walters for a Q&A and meet and greet, while Perth Football Club got everyone involved with an AFL clinic. Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service also joined us on the day, connecting with members and sharing information about their services.

Check out the photo gallery below for some of the highlights from the day.
